The high-temperature radar level meter is a radar level measuring instrument with a measuring distance of up to 30 meters.
It can be used for the measurement of blast furnace levels, thick tank top storage tanks, short pipe installations, and other working conditions with an output power of 4…20mA analog signal.
It uses the microwave pulse measurement method and can work properly in the industrial frequency band with low beam energy.
It can be installed in a variety of metallic and non-metallic vessels or pipes for non-contact continuous level measurement of liquids, slurries, and granular materials.
It is suitable for applications where dust, large temperature, and pressure variations, and the presence of inert gases and vapors are present.
The radar level meter is harmless to humans and the environment, it also has the advantage of being unaffected by the specific gravity of the medium, changes in dielectric constant, and field adjustments.
1. It is recommended that the distance between the outer wall of the short pipe and the inner wall of the tank should be greater than 1/6 of the diameter of the tank;
2. The distance between the outer wall of the short tube and the inner wall of the tank should not be less than 300mm;
3. The radar level meter should not be installed above the inlet;
4. Can not be installed in the center of the tank, if installed, will produce multiple false echoes, and interference echoes will make the signal lost.
5. If the distance between the instrument and the tank wall cannot be maintained, the medium on the tank wall will adhere and generate false echoes. Spurious echo storage should be carried out when commissioning the instrument.
