The liquid turbine flowmeter is a precision flow measurement instrument that can be used to measure the flow rate and total volume of liquid when matched with the corresponding flow totalizing instrument. 

Liquid turbine flow meters are widely used in measurement and control systems in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, scientific research and other fields. Liquid turbine flowmeters equipped with sanitary connections can be used in the pharmaceutical industry.

1. Solution to No Display flow

(1) First check whether there are any problems with the circuit, such as signal wires falling off or broken wires, etc.

(2) Separate the sensor from the signal amplifier, connect the signal amplifier to the instrument, and use iron metal to slide back and forth 2~3mm away from the bottom of the amplifier where the signal is taken. If there is a display on the instrument, it means there is no problem with the display part. Please remove the flow sensor from the pipe and check whether the flow meter impeller is entangled or the impeller is damaged.

2. Flow range fluctuations are relatively large

The reasons for large traffic fluctuations can be considered from the following aspects:

1. Is there any interference?

There are interference sources such as motors, frequency converters, and strong electricity near the flow meter. Solution: Ground the flow meter or add a filter capacitor. If it cannot be solved, you should stay away from the source of interference.

2. Is the water source a pulsating flow?

(1) Generally speaking, a pump is used to pump raw materials. If the flow installation position is relatively close to the pump, it is easy to produce pulsating flow, resulting in relatively large flow fluctuations. In this case, the solution is to increase the straight pipe distance between the pump and the flow meter. Keep the flow steady.

(2) The flow meter is installed too close to the valve or elbow. When the raw material passes through the valve or elbow, the flow rate fluctuates. At this time, you should stay away from valves and elbows to ensure a certain straight pipe section before and after.

3. The flow meter display error is relatively large

(1) First check whether the flow sensor coefficient, i.e. K value, and other parameters of the instrument are set correctly.

(2) If possible, use an electronic scale for actual calibration.

4. The flow meter shows a small flow rate, but the actual flow rate is relatively large.

The general cause of this problem is that the impeller does not rotate quickly or the blades are broken. Remove the flow meter from the pipe and check whether the flow meter is tangled or damaged.
