3. For some who need to take insulation or cooling of the measured media, choose a jacketed rotameter. The standard metal tube float rotameter with heat or cooling interface is DIN2501 DN15 PN1.6 flange connection, if another flange or threaded connection is required, please specify when ordering.
4. For rotameter inlet medium pressure instability, especially for gas measurement, in order to ensure accuracy and service life, one should choose the damping structure.
5. For the medium requirements of the pressure level is high, more than the standard pressure level, in the selection, please select the high-pressure type structure, high-pressure type using HG20595-97 RF with neck butt welding steel pipe flange. If other standards are used, please specify when ordering.
6. Rotor flowmeter installation to ensure that the verticality of the measuring tube is better than 5%, and should be installed bypass, easy maintenance, and cleaning without affecting production.
7. The location of the installation of the rotameter should ensure that the inlet has ≥ 5DN straight pipe section, the outlet is not ≤ 250mm straight pipe section; such as the media contains ferromagnetic substances, should be installed in front of the rotameter magnetic filter.
8. The control valve in the measurement and control system should be installed downstream of the rotameter. For gas measurement, should ensure that the working pressure is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the rotor flowmeter, in order to make the rotor flowmeter work steadily.
9. Before installing the metal tube float rotameter, the pipeline should be cleaned of welding slag; installation to remove the rotameter in the stopping element; after installation and use, slowly open the control valve to avoid impact damage to the rotameter.
