In order to ensure the long-term normal operation of the turbine flowmeter, it is necessary to frequently check the operating conditions of the sensor, display instrument or flow computer, and auxiliary equipment, and do a good job of maintenance. Any abnormality should be eliminated in time.
(1) Regularly disassemble, clean, inspect and recalibrate the sensor; for sensors equipped with lubricating oil or cleaning fluid injection ports, lubricating oil or cleaning fluid should be injected regularly according to the requirements of the manual to maintain the good operation of the impeller. If there is abnormal sound from the impeller, the internal parts of the sensor should be removed and inspected in time. When bearings and shafts are severely worn, they should be replaced and re-calibrated.
(2) Monitor the working status of the display instrument (switch to the “self-calibration” block), evaluate the readings of the display instrument, and check-in time if any abnormality happens.
(3) Keep the filter unblocked, and the filter is blocked by impurities. It can be judged from the increase in the pressure gauge readings at the inlet and outlet and cleared in time, otherwise, the blockage will reduce the flow rate. Periodically discharge the gas escaping from the liquid in the getter.
When the sensor is removed from the pipeline and not used temporarily, it should be cleaned with light oil and covered at both ends to prevent rust or impurities from entering the instrument.
