Introducing the application scenarios of guided wave radar level meter

The guided wave radar level meter is a commonly used level measurement instrument with high accuracy, high response speed, and a wide range of application scenarios. In this paper, we will introduce the application scenarios of guided wave radar level meter and illustrate the superiority of guided wave radar level meter from two actual measurement cases.

Application scenarios of guided-wave radar level meter, guided-wave radar level meter have a wide range of applications because of its high accuracy, fast response time, good reliability, and other characteristics.

Common liquid level measurement application scenarios are as follows: petrochemical industry: such as storage tanks, reactors, paper making machinery, etc.; food industry: such as syrup storage tanks, baking ovens, muffin tins, etc.; wastewater treatment industry: such as cesspools, settling ponds, regulating ponds, reverse osmosis equipment, etc.; power industry: such as reservoirs, large oil tanks, etc.

Two actual cases of guided wave radar level meter, the first one is a petrochemical plant storage tank level measurement, in this case, a petrochemical plant needs to monitor the level of a large storage tank.

Considering the large size and height of the tanks, a guided wave radar level meter is used here for level measurement. Due to the complex nature of the storage tanks’ liquid, such as lithium salt, potassium bromide, and other corrosive substances, the reliability and accuracy of the measuring instrument are therefore required to a high degree.

After using the guided wave radar level meter for level measurement, its response speed and accuracy are better guaranteed, which brings better production benefits to the manufacturer.

The second food industry baking oven temperature measurement In the food industry baking oven, the liquid level of the chamber needs to be measured in order to control the baking temperature and time. Conventional level meters are very inaccurate when the level varies widely and requires frequent manual adjustments.

In order to improve the accuracy and convenience of measurement, a guided wave radar level meter is applied here for level measurement.

Because of the fast response time and high accuracy of the guided wave radar level meter, it provides very accurate level readings and a high level of automatic control.

With the advantages of high accuracy, fast response time, and good reliability, the guided wave radar level meter is widely used for liquid level monitoring in various fields such as petrochemical, food, and sewage treatment.

This paper illustrates the application scenarios of guided wave radar level meters in different industries and their superiority from two actual measurement cases, which provides reference and help for relevant users.

In practical applications, it is necessary to pay attention to the requirements of different scenarios and environments for the guided wave radar level meter and to store, maintain and care for it according to the actual situation in order to maintain its high accuracy, fast, and reliable measurement quality.
