Guided-wave radar level meter is a common liquid level measuring instrument with high accuracy and fast response time, which is widely used in industrial production. 

However, for the special application environment like sealed tanks, whether the guided wave radar level meter can perform level monitoring needs to be made for further examination and analysis. A sealing tank is a common industrial equipment, its main role is to seal the material in the production process. However, unlike general storage tanks, sealed tanks have some special properties in the process of use. 

High temperature and pressure: The interior of sealed tanks is usually under high temperature and pressure conditions, which requires the level measuring instrument to have a fast response rate. 

High viscosity liquid: The material in the sealed tank is usually a high viscosity liquid, which requires the level measuring instrument to be able to work stably in this environment. 

Complex tank shape: Sealed tanks have a complex shape and are usually sealed, which makes level measurement difficult.

In a chemical company, sealed tanks are one of the common equipment used in the company’s production process. The company needed to consider how to choose the most suitable level monitor from various aspects such as measurement accuracy, model, and measurement stability. 

Finally, they chose a guided-wave radar level meter for level measurement because of its fast response time, high accuracy, and good corrosion resistance. 

In the actual measurement, they encountered the following problems: the complex shape of the sealed tank led to inaccurate level measurement. The high temperature inside the sealed tank affects the reaction speed of the level measurement. 

The high viscosity of the material inside the sealed tank affects the accuracy of the liquid level measurement. In response to these problems, they made a series of adjustments and optimizations, including the sealed tank was redesigned to make its shape simpler for level measurement. 

Improvements were made to the guided wave radar level meter to improve its response speed and accuracy. The interior of the sealed tank was cooled down to improve the accuracy of the level measurement. 

With these adjustments and optimizations, the problem of liquid level monitoring in sealed tanks was successfully solved and has been widely used in production control.

Although sealed tanks have special environments such as high temperature and pressure and high viscosity liquids, a guided wave radar level meter is still a feasible, highly accurate, and responsive level measurement tool. 

Although there are specific environments and difficulties in the level measurement of sealed tanks, the selection of appropriate level measurement instruments, the rational application of technical tools, and the effective solution of problems in actual production can bring certain production control advantages and economic benefits.
