Parameters for the selection of high frequency radar level meters

The high-frequency radar level meter is an advanced radar level measuring instrument with a measuring range of up to 70 meters. The antenna is further optimized and a new fast microprocessor allows processing at higher rates, making the instrument suitable for applications where solid materials, process vessels, or strong dust tend to crystallize and condense. So what parameters must we know before buying a high-frequency radar level meter?

1. How many meters is the measuring range and what is the required blind spot?

2. The type of medium to be measured (liquid or solid, specific names such as clear water, sewage, mud, gasoline, diesel, toluene, sulphur dioxide, ore, coal, cement, soybean, wheat, corn, flour, etc.) If it is a liquid: whether the liquid surface has steam, mist, foam, waves, stirring, or floating objects; if it is solid: whether there is dust, the medium is granular or powder.

3. the minimum to a maximum temperature of the medium, the minimum to maximum pressure.

4. the corrosiveness of the medium, if it is placed inside the tank, you need to know the material of the tank, and whether there is a corrosion-resistant lining.

5. whether anti-corrosion, explosion-proof, to be split or integrated.

6. working environment: open pool, covered pool, horizontal tank, vertical tank, spherical tank, whether the tank is ventilated by atmospheric pressure, etc.

7. Working power: 24VDC DC or 220VAC AC

8. output signal: 4 ~ 20mA current, or 485 communication output, need relay output?

All of the above are the parameters that need to be understood before buying high-frequency radar level meters, each parameter of each link is important.
