Radar level meter parameter setting - Just Measure it

Radar level meter parameter setting

The basic measuring principle of the radar level meter is composed of transmitting, reflecting, and receiving. The antenna of the radar sensor emits the radar signal in the form of a beam, using the microwave pulse measurement method, with different distances corresponding to different levels.

Generally speaking, microwave pulses are emitted at an interval of 1S and at a frequency of 2.5MHz. The reflected signal is reflected in the echo map, which is able to amplify and locate the echo signal in a very short period of time, and then analyze and process the signal in a precise and detailed manner.

The microwave pulses emitted by the radar level meter are low enough not to threaten human health and require propagation in various metal and non-metal containers.

Different places have different requirements and regulations for the use of the same radar level meter, and in the process of operation and use, one should be able to operate strictly in accordance with these conditions.

It is also important to pay great attention to the use and design of these devices in the process of understanding that for different environments there will be different situations when setting parameters, as different parameters may set some temperature or other conditions.

When setting the parameters of the radar level meter, this should be done in accordance with industry requirements or internal and external temperature differences.

To ensure reliable measurement of the radar level meter, the following parameters must be set.

①Select the display function, either to display the level or to display the interval.

② Select the unit in which the length is to be displayed.

③ Outputs the height of the test box.

④ Output the dead space interval, equal to the interval between the bottom of the flange and the pump level.

⑤ Outputs the type of antenna and the length of the antenna extension.

⑥ Selects the display of the current input function and outputs the detection range for the corresponding current input value.

In general, the parameters of the radar level meter must be complete, requiring the specification of the device, the medium to be measured, temperature, density, pressure, and other parameters.

The above parameters are very important and indispensable, as is the selection of the radar level meter, the above parameters are also necessary.
