Electromagnetic flowmeter Contains drift gas - Just Measure it

Electromagnetic flowmeter Contains drift gas

If the drift gas contained in the liquid is only tiny bubbles, it can still work normally, but the measured volume flow of the mixture containing the volume of the bubbles; if the gas content increases to form a slug flow, the electrode may be covered by the gas and make the circuit disconnected instantaneously, the output is shaking, and it even can’t work.

If there are bubbles during the measurement, find out the reasons, such as whether the flow sensor is installed at a high point where gas is easy to gather; whether bubbles are involved in the suction end of the pipe system; whether the pump shaft seal or the negative pressure end is leaking; whether the dissolved gas is converted into free gas, etc., the above should be avoided.
