Turbine flowmeter fault - current output abnormal - Just Measure it

Turbine flowmeter fault – current output abnormal

(1) Three-wire current, current output is not normal:

● Pay attention to the wiring: 24V, COM (GND), IOUT

● Measure the voltage between IUOT and COM (GND), if there is current, use a multimeter to measure the current again, if not, the board is faulty.

(2) Two-wire current wiring, the instrument does not light up without output or the instrument does not light up with the output.

● Confirm the wiring

● Multimeter to further test the power supply and output

● Board failure returns to factory or send replacement board.

(3) The flow rate displayed on the system does not match the meter

Confirm that the upper limit of the system is consistent with the meter set

● Multimeter test to see if the current corresponds to the flow rate displayed on the meter, formula.

q – instantaneous flow rate (m3/h)

Q – flow rate upper limit (m3/h)

A — Current current current output value (mA)

● Interference leads to the general phenomenon: the meter shows normal output shows full range or the meter shows normal output jumps around

Solution:

① The shield of the two/three-wire current line must be grounded

② If the source of interference is the power supply then replace the power supply

③ If there is a problem with the wiring, then change the wiring line

④ Line crosstalk add signal isolator, power supply or wiring problems add filter

⑤ Return the circuit board to the factory or send a replacement board
