Flow coefficient calculation
The flow coefficient of the flowmeter is calculated by the formula (1):

The flow coefficient is related to the diameter of the measuring tube, the diameter of the target plate, the flow rate of the measured medium, the properties of the measured medium, and the performance of the sensor. It is obtained through detection and used for flowmeter selection and production.

The target force needs to be calculated during design and selection, and the target force is calculated by the formula (2):

Pressure loss
The pressure loss of the flowmeter mainly comes from two aspects: the loss along the measuring tube and the loss caused by the flow block. The pressure loss value or ultimate pressure loss value of various specifications of flowmeters can be obtained through detection.
