Oil Blending Plant application of Base Oil Tanks - Just Measure it

Oil Blending Plant application of Base Oil Tanks

Zero Instrument has the following inquiry from customers.

The dimensions mentioned for the BASE OIL TANKS are in meters (M). The Material in the tanks are mentioned in the picture above, which is BASE OIL: SN500.

And 4 out of 7 tanks are having the dimensions, shown in the picture below:

The Materials in these tanks are also mentioned which are BASE OIL: GROUP-3, BASE OIL: GROUP-2, BASE OIL: SN150 & BASE OIL: BS150 respectively.

First of all, you need to give the quotation of either ultrasonic or radar level transmitter for all of these tanks. Whereas the temperature of the material in these tanks is 25-65 degrees Celsius.

Secondly, the materials from these tanks will be lifted in a measured quantity to fed these materials to the Kettle tanks. For accurate measuring purpose, we are using Coriolis Mass Flow Meters. So you need to give me the quotations for Mass Flow Meters having line sizes of DN50, DN80 & DN100.

Thirdly, the process of Kettle tanks is to mix the BASE OILS in a measured quantity to have a specific recipe as per the requirement of the customer. So, the Kettle tanks are installed with agitator mixtures. We need to measure the level of these kettle tanks as well. These kettle tanks are 8 in numbers, named with B.K.1 – B.K.8 and the level will be measured using differential pressure type level transmitter. The dimensions of all the kettle tanks are shown in the picture below:

The dimensions mentioned for the kettle tanks are in Centimeters (cm). So, you need to quote 8 Differential pressure type level transmitters for these kettle tanks. Whereas the temperature range of material in B.K.1 and B.K.2 is 25-125 degrees Celsius. For B.K.3 – B.K.8 the temperature range is 25-65 degrees Celsius.

After preparing the required recipes in these kettle tanks, these recipes are stored in the Holding tanks. There are total 8 numbers of Holding tanks. The dimensions of the Holding tanks are mentioned in the picture below. Whereas the dimensions in the picture are in Centimeter (cm).

So, you need to quote 8 numbers of Ultrasonic or radar level transmitters for all of these tanks. Whereas the temperature range of material in these tanks is 25-65 degrees Celsius.
