In order to allow the rotameter to work properly and to achieve a certain measurement accuracy, the following points should be noted when installing the flowmeter.
1. The rotor flowmeter must be installed vertically in the vibration-free pipeline. Fluid flow from the bottom up through the flowmeter, and the vertical degree is better than 2 °, horizontal installation when the horizontal angle is better than 2 °; (now there can be horizontally installed rotor flowmeter)
2. In order to facilitate maintenance and replacement of the flowmeter, cleaning the measurement pipeline, installed in the processing pipeline of the metal tube float flowmeter should be installed bypass pipeline and bypass valve;
3. Rotor flowmeter inlet should be 5 times the length of the pipe diameter or more straight pipe section, the export should be 250mm straight pipe section.
4. If the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, a should be installed magnetic filter; if the medium contains solid impurities, should be considered between the valve and the straight pipe section to install a filter.
5. When used for gas measurement, should ensure that the pipeline pressure is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flowmeter, in order to make the float work steadily.
6. In order to avoid deformation of the flowmeter caused by the pipeline, the flange of the processing pipeline must be coaxial with the flange of the flowmeter and parallel to each other, pipeline support to avoid pipeline vibration and reduce the axial load of the flowmeter, the control valve in the measurement system should be installed downstream of the flowmeter.
7. Measurement of gas, if the gas in the flowmeter outlet direct discharges atmosphere, the outlet of the instrument should be installed in the valve, otherwise it will produce an air pressure drop at the float and cause data distortion.
8. In the installation of a PTFE lined meter, flange nuts do not arbitrarily asymmetrical screwing too tight, so as not to cause PTFE lining deformation.
9. With a liquid crystal display instrument, try to avoid direct sunlight display, so as not to reduce the service life of the liquid crystal; with a lithium battery-powered instrument, try to avoid direct sunlight, a high-temperature environment (≥ 65 ℃) so as not to reduce the capacity and life of lithium batteries.
10. When the measured medium is dirty, the tube and float should be cleaned in time.
