Guided wave radar level meter belongs to contact level meter, specifically divided into cable type, rod type, and double rod type three types, these three types in the process of installation and commissioning, need to pay attention to slightly different matters.
1. Wired cable-type guided wave radar level meter, mainly used for solid particle measurement. It should be installed at 1/4 of the diameter of the tank and should be kept away from the inlet and at a certain distance from the tank wall during measurement. In the case of conical vessels, they should be installed in the center of the vessel.
2. Rod-type guided wave radar level meter, mainly used for liquid level measurement. It can measure any medium with a dielectric constant greater than or equal to 1.9 and is unaffected by steam and foam.
3. Double rod type guided wave radar level meter, also used for liquid level measurement. It can measure any medium with a dielectric constant greater than or equal to 1.6. Strong penetration to steam and foam, unaffected, measuring range up to 6m.
