How to maintain a guided wave radar level meter - Just Measure it

How to maintain a guided wave radar level meter

Many people always think of radar level meters as a contactless measurement method. In fact, in addition to the contactless measurement method, there are also contact-guided wave radar level meters.

On the market, although the guided wave radar level meter does not hold obvious advantages, because of its low price, the scope of application is still available, many enterprises in the comprehensive consideration of the premise will also be the guided wave radar level meter as the first choice, naturally, this measurement method in the measurement industry has also occupied a place. So, for such a measurement method, in daily life how to maintain it

Guided wave radar level meters mainly rely on the emission and reception of microwaves to measure the level of liquids. Among the microwaves received, there are generally reflected waves from the liquid interface, fixed echoes, and other spurious waves. For accurate measurement, the threshold parameters, sensitivity, and dielectric constant settings are required to shield the fixed echoes and other noise waves. Therefore, it is recommended that maintenance personnel have a better understanding of the parameters of the guided wave radar level meter.

When dealing with problems on site, an analytical comparison can be taken, i.e. the same tank level measuring instruments can be analyzed and compared. To some extent, this can increase the basis for fault determination, speed up fault handling, and improve accuracy.
