The first case is a company in Hebei that uses our radar level meter to measure corrosive chemical liquid, the radar level meter model is RD701.
In the process of use, there is no signal when the level is low, dead value, according to our after-sales engineers to the scene inspection found the problem, it is the radar cable length and tank height does not match, cable 13 meters, tank height 15 meters, the top of the tank and the installation position 2 meters, a total of 17 meters, when the liquid level is low, it can not touch the cable, can not detect the signal of tetrafluoride hammer, so that the radar report error.
To solve this problem, you need to change the radar parameters to make them consistent with the tank height range. Increase the range so that when the liquid level does not touch the cable, it can be picked up on the radar range signal, and tell the customer that when the liquid level is low (the liquid level does not touch the cable) the radar will display a fixed value, and the display will be normal when the cable is touched. In this way, the problem was completely solved.
The second case is a company in Shanghai, using our radar level meter, the model is RD701, measuring the medium is hydrochloric acid, methanol. We went to the site to check and found that the customer did not ground the instrument line, so it caused interference. The temporary grounding wire was corroded and the shield wire was not connected inside the junction box.
The solution was to ground the shield wire from the middle of the power line, and the radar level meter resumed normal work.
The last case is a company in Beijing, using our radar level meter, the model is also RD701, the measured medium is cement, normal temperature, and normal pressure. After inspection, it was found that there was no signal in the echo curve, the antenna box or coaxial line was damaged or had poor contact, so there was a false signal and the zero point was not measured.
In this case, the antenna box and coaxial line connection need to be inserted out of alignment to restore normal, and then false echo learning, and increase the measurement range, so that the problem is solved.
