General technical requirements
1. Files
The flowmeter should be accompanied by instructions for use. The flow meter that is calibrated periodically should also have the previous verification or calibration certificate.
2. Nameplate and logo
(1) The flow meter should have a clear flow direction mark.
(2) The flowmeter should have a nameplate. The meter body or nameplate should indicate: manufacturer name
Product name and model specification
Serial number
Manufacture of measuring instruments license signs and numbers
Nominal pressure
Applicable working pressure and working temperature range
Flow range
Level of accuracy
Manufacturing year and month
And other related technical indicators.
3. Appearance
(1) The newly manufactured flowmeter should have a good surface treatment, free of burrs, scratches, cracks, rust, mildew, and peeling of the coating. The inside of the flowmeter should be clean, and the turbine rotor should rotate flexibly. The sealing surface should be flat and free from damage.
(2) The welding of the connection part of the meter body of the flowmeter should be smooth and clean, and there should be no false welding or desoldering.
(3) The connector must be firm and reliable, and must not be loose or fall off due to vibration.
(4) The displayed numbers should be eye-catching and neat, and the text symbols and signs that indicate functions should be complete, clear, and correct.
(5) The keys should have a moderate feel and no adhesion.
(6) The indicators of the flowmeter are correct; the protective glass on the reading device should have good transparency, and there should be no defects that interfere with the reading such as distortion of the reading.
