In order for the radar level meter to be accurately positioned, the flange or threads must be marked when installing the flange. During installation, the markings must conform to the following instructions. Specific matters are as follows.
1. the radar level meter flange indication mark should point to the tank wall or the center of the tank;
2. If a bypass tube is used for installation, the flange markings should point to the side of the connecting tube
3. If using waveguide tube installation, the flange mark should point to the side of the open hole.
During the use of the radar, the amplitude of the echo signal indicates whether the installation position is optimal. In solid material applications, if the echo amplitude is low, the flange can be rotated and the hole position can be rotated one hole position at a time to minimize interference echoes. In addition, optimal measurements can be obtained by pseudo-echo storage.
Specific operation steps
1、 Before opening the process connection of the tank, you must confirm that the tank is free of pressure and harmful media.
2、Confirm that the container is empty or the material level just covers the bottom of the tank can be positioned and adjusted, and the material level is small can also be positioned and adjusted; can be stored through the false echo to optimize the echo signal.
3、Rotate the flange mark to the hole position or rotate the thread 1/8 turn, pay attention to the echo amplitude, and continue to rotate the flange or thread for one turn to a position at the best echo position.
4、Fix the flange or tighten the thread at the best position, and replace the seal if necessary.
