Electromagnetic flow Meter Accuracy
Electromagnetic flow Meter accuracy is how close the measurement is to the true value. That means how close the output of the meter is to its calibration curve.
Zero Instrument calibration was performed on every meter, within ±0.5% of reading accuracy at the calibrated (typical) flow velocity and within ±1-2% of reading over a 50:1 flow range.
In general, it can be said the lower the percentage, the more accurate the meter. However, this also depends on the specification of either Full Scale or Reading.
To achieve +/- 0.5 percent of accuracy, which usually means that the application needs sufficient straight-run pipe up and downstream.
Zero Instrument is becoming more and more accurate, especially for the electromagnetic flow meters.
