The measuring range is about 1.5 meters, after using it for a long time, the customer feedback that there is a fault that cannot be solved by themselves, obviously there is no material in the bin, but the meter shows that there is still more than 0.5 meters of material level height, so they turn to us for help. 

Initially, our after-sales engineer thought that there was a problem with the installation and commissioning of the master on-site, and after the master on-site patiently followed the steps instructed by the after-sales engineer to commission the meter, the problem still could not be solved. 

Then we suspected that there was a baffle in the silo, which caused a false echo, but there was no obstacle in the silo, and finally, this suspicion was also ruled out. After several tests and analyses by the after-sales engineer, it was found that the magnetic field below was too strong and the wave-guide rod was magnetized, causing the problem to appear.

Through this case we can also clearly find that the wave guide rod will be affected by the magnetic field, users who have problems in this area can refer to. 

In addition, professional engineers in finding the problem is to constantly figure out to exclude, anything is not a one-time success. This measurement of conductive carbon black is so, the next measurement of other media, the face of other working conditions is also the case.
