Background
In mid-2025, a leading engineering and supply company in Thailand approached us with a requirement for a replacement level switch for one of their chemical process clients. The existing level switch was installed in a tank containing 5% hydrochloric acid, and their team needed a reliable, corrosion-resistant solution compatible with their existing control system.

Client Challenges

  • The process medium was weak hydrochloric acid, requiring a wetted material with excellent chemical resistance.

  • The existing wiring system was 3-wire (L, N, PE), designed for direct relay coil switching without a NAMUR isolator.

  • The client required a quick delivery window to avoid process downtime.

Our Solution
After analyzing the application details and wiring diagram, we proposed the Ring-11 Tuning Fork Level Switch with the following configuration:

  • Output Type: Relay Output (Dry Contact, compatible with direct load switching)

  • Power Supply: AC220V or DC24V

  • Wetted Parts: 316L Stainless Steel with ECTFE/PFA coating for superior corrosion resistance

  • Process Connection: 2” ANSI 150RF Flange

  • Probe Length: 300mm

  • Housing: Anti-corrosive Nylon (IP66 rated)

We provided a clear wiring diagram tailored to their control panel logic, ensuring full compatibility with their existing setup without requiring any system modifications.
