1. Applications & Characteristics
The BN-BW Type Standard Venturi Tube is able to measure single-phase and steady volume flow such as liquid, air, or steam in closed tubes. It is designed and manufactured according to the standards of ISO5167 and GB/T2624–94. Its forehand and backside straight tube is the shortest, and its pressure loss is the lowest among all standard flow-adjusted devices. Its performance is steady and easy to maintain. However, it cannot be used in high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions.
2. Structure
The standard Venturi tube is composed of an intake tubular section (A), coniform contracted section (B), tubular throat (C), and coniform diffuse section (E), as shown in Figure 1.

3.4 Selection of the standard Venturi tube is detailed in the corresponding chapter of the Flow-adjusted Device Operating Instruction Manual.
3.5Product Offered Range: The standard Venturi tube adopts a special pressure-taking mode and is installed with flange connections. We can provide matching flanges as required by customers.
3.6 For DN > 1200 mm, a flow test is required.
