Many companies have experienced major or minor problems when using radar level meters for level measurement, most of which are related to installation. Therefore, it is necessary to know the following radar level meter installation tips.
Tip 1: The radar level meter should be selected in a position that is easy to wire and easy to dismantle. The radar level meter power supply has a two-wire system and a four-wire system. However, no matter which wiring method is used, wiring is required. In addition, the radar level meter should be regularly maintained and it is important to choose a location that is easy to dismantle.
Tip 2: When installing, the connecting cable in front of the cable entry is flushed down. The reason for this is to protect against moisture. When the radar level meter is installed outdoors or in a wet area, rain or condensation can easily damage the cable. If the connection cable is downwards, rain or condensation can drip straight down the hanging cable.
Tip 3: radar level meter antenna and the media to maintain a certain distance between, generally more than 50mm. Some of the media measured by the radar level meter are corrosive and some are viscous, which will have an impact on the radar level meter. So when installing, try to keep the medium and the meter at a certain distance.
Tip 4: If the radar level meter is a low-pressure vessel or with gauge pressure, and is a threaded connection, it is best to add a seal to the threaded process connection.
Most people know that the radar level meter should not be installed in the center, but also try to stay away from obstacles and inlets, but for the above four installation tips, but know very little.
I would like to summarise them here in the hope that they will be of help to those who need them when necessary.
At the same time, I also hope that when necessary, we can read more relevant information and master more radar-level meter installation skills.
