Microwave contact with the measured medium surface is reflected back again by the antenna system, the signal will be transmitted to the electronic circuit part automatically converted into a level signal (because the microwave propagation speed is very fast, electromagnetic waves reach the target and return to the receiver by the reflection of the time used in this round trip is almost instantaneous).
The case we are going to share today is a company in Anhui province, which bought and installed two types of radar level meters from our company, RD902, and RD906 respectively. in the process of use, there was a jumping situation, and there was a phenomenon of jumping full range in the process of feeding.
Our after-sales engineer went to the working condition site to check and found that the feed fluctuation was large, the installation short pipe diameter was 40, while the height was 150-200, and the installation short pipe was too long, which led to the above problem. After-sales engineers proposed a solution, that is, false echo editing, the installation of the short tube signal shielding off, so that the problem was solved, measurement no jumping situation, there is no full range of the problem, the radar level meter to restore accurate measurement.
The radar level meter measurement jump problem, is almost one of the most common problems, the solution varies, but in fact, all changes are the same, whether to change the location of the radar level meter or increase the damping time, or false echo editing, are designed to eliminate the impact of interference sources, only according to the specific conditions and complexity of different, specific operations, but no matter what debugging methods, can only be used as a reference.
