Understanding the problems encountered in radar level measurement through several cases

The first case is a company in Zhejiang that installed a batch of our radar level meter, model RD906, used to measure lye, temperature about 40 degrees, atmospheric pressure, and range of about 1m. The customer reacted that there were thirteen units of stirring, and there was no signal after opening the stirring, and there was steam without stirring, and the situation of no signal appeared on the tetrafluoride. 

After-sales engineers went to the scene to check and found that the stirring is more violent, there will be foam, while the steam is also more serious. After-sales engineer gave the solution is, stirring for 100mv plate plus 5db gain, steam for 100 plates with a solid large taper, after the completion of the replacement effect is good.

The second case is a company in Hubei that purchased and installed our three types of radar level meter RD902, RD902T, and 80G respectively. 902 measures the medium of ferrous ammonium phosphate mixture, atmospheric pressure, temperature around 80-90℃, with stirring, stirring around 30HZ. 902t measures the medium of ammonia, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrogen peroxide, normal temperature, and pressure. 80G measures the medium of the Ferrous dissolution tank, atmospheric pressure, and temperature at about 80-90 ℃, with stirring. The customer responded that one tank measuring ammonia had no signal, the 902 empty tanks was jumping, the feed had no signal, and the 80G display would restart when touched.

 After-sales engineers to the scene to check, and determine the bottom of the tank for the circular arc, the empty tank no tank bottom signal, 80G display, and the motherboard contact is loose. The solution is to first replace the ammonia tank radar, but no effect, and then found that the supply voltage 16V, replace the power supply can be measured normally. 80G replacement of four sets of circuit boards and debugging, the problem is solved.

The last case to share is a company in Shandong installed with our radar level meter, used to measure water, the temperature is around 50-60 degrees, the site response empty tank shows a liquid level after our after-sales engineers check found that the cause of this situation is the tank bottom is not flat caused by the need to increase the range, and shield the false signal, this method is a perfect solution to the problem.
