How to determine whether the guide wave radar level meter is faulty

As we all know, the advantages of the guided wave radar level meter are very obvious, such as its high measurement accuracy, easy maintenance, can meet the requirements of high temperature, high pressure, steam, vacuum, high dust and other harsh environments, in more and more industries are widely used.

But again good things, there will be some problems, such as failure, then how to determine the failure is a problem worth being explored, only to find the problem, in order to solve the problem, so as to achieve the most effective. The following gives you a summary of several, the most basic methods to determine the failure of the guide wave radar level meter.

The first is the visual inspection method, that is, without using any test instrument, but through human sensory observation to find the fault.

The second is the disconnection method, which disconnects the part we consider suspicious from the whole machine to see if the fault can disappear to determine the fault.

The third is the replacement method, by replacing some parts or circuit boards to determine the fault in a certain location.

The fourth is the resistance method. The resistance check method is to use the resistance block of the multimeter to check whether the input and output resistance of the whole circuit and some circuits of the instrument are normal, whether the capacitor is damaged or leaking, and whether the inductor coil and transformer are disconnected or short-circuited without power supply.

The last one is the current method, which is divided into direct and indirect measurement. Direct measurement is to connect the circuit to the ammeter after disconnection, and compare the measured current value with the value of the instrument in its normal state to determine the fault. Indirect measurement without disconnection, measure the voltage drop across the resistor and calculate the approximate current value based on the resistance value.

These methods are not complicated and are relatively simple to operate, but they also require technical maintenance personnel with a certain degree of expertise, patience and care to achieve the desired results.
