Nominal diameter

The nominal diameter of the flowmeter should be selected from the following values, the unit is millimeter (mm)

10, 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000.

Nominal pressure

The nominal pressure value of the flowmeter should be selected from the following values, in megapascals (MPa):

0.6, 1.0, 1.6, 2.5, 4.0, 6.3, 10.0, 16.0, 25.0, 42.0.

Target diameter

The diameter of the target plate (d) depends on the inner diameter of the measuring tube (D), the properties of the measured medium, and the performance of the sensor. d/D is between 0.1-0.8. Usually take d/D as a fixed value such as 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8 (called fixed target). Through experiments, the corresponding flow coefficients of each d/D are obtained for use in options.

Target thickness

The thickness of the target plate is 0.05d-0.1d, and the minimum value should be taken as far as possible when the rigidity requirements are met. Keep the edge of the upstream end of the target board sharp.

Meter tube

Measuring tube length: In order to ensure the measurement accuracy of the flowmeter, when measuring, the length of the measuring tube on the upstream side of the target plate is not less than 5D, and the length of the measuring tube on the downstream side of the target plate is not less than 3D.

Measuring pipe inner diameter: the inner diameter of the straight pipe section of the flowmeter is D0 +0.01D

The surface quality of the measuring tube: within the required length of the measuring tube, the surface of the measuring tube should be clean, free of rust, defect, and surface roughness Ra≤12.5 μm

Flow range

The measured medium is liquid, gas, or steam, and its flow rate is not less than 1000

Working medium temperature

The temperature range of the working medium of the flowmeter: -196℃~450℃

Power supply

The power supply is DC 24

Output signal

a) DC current output 4-20mA

b) Intelligent output: signals conforming to standard communication protocols (such as HART, FF, etc.)

Output load capacity

The output load capacity of the flowmeter should not be less than 500Ω

Output display

The flowmeter can be displayed on-site, displaying instantaneous flow (expressed in engineering units or percentage flow), cumulative flow, and other related parameters
