Turbine flow meter components - Just Measure it

Turbine flow meter components

Turbine flow meters are velocity flow meters, also called impeller flow meters.

The impeller flowmeter uses the proportional relationship between the rotational angular velocity of the impeller placed in the fluid and the fluid flow rate.

It reflects the volume flow of the fluid through the pipeline by measuring the speed of the impeller. It is one of the more mature high-accuracy meters.

Turbine flowmeter parts generally consist of the following typical five parts: the turbine housing, shaft, rotor, pickup sensor, and transmitter.
