Technical characteristics and scope of application of guided wave radar level meters

The guided wave radar level meter is a measuring instrument that uses microwave positioning technology. By transmitting a pulse signal, the signal is transmitted in a waveguide, encounters an obstacle, and is reflected, the reflected signal is transmitted back to the receiving device. The change in level is determined by the time difference in the movement of the signal.

Guided wave radar level meter instrumentation can be contact continuous measurement of liquids, slurries and granular materials, and other media with relatively small dielectric constants, suitable for application in the presence of temperature, pressure changes, inert gas, or steam. 1. Great versatility

A guided wave radar level meter can continuously measure the level of liquid, solid, and powder material, according to the different working conditions, choose different probes, the main probe is divided into three kinds, respectively, cable probe, rod probe, and coaxial rod probe.

The cable-type probes have a maximum measuring distance of 35 meters and are very effective in measuring liquid and solid levels. Rod probes are mainly used for liquids and coaxial rod probes are used for liquids and can be used in harsh conditions such as corrosion and shock.

The circuit design and sensor construction of the guided wave radar level meter mean that it is unaffected by measurement and does not require regular maintenance and cleaning to avoid delays in measurement.

There are no moving parts in the measurement process and the integrated design eliminates maintenance problems.
